What Chelsea Macor Photography Is All About
Hello and welcome! I'm Chelsea Macor, owner of Chelsea Macor Photography (obvious, I know), believer in photography that is:
Real…but on steroids
...So if you came here looking for 80s style backdrops, props, and cheese you might be in the wrong place. I want to make you look your best, while leaving you fully in the moment. I want your session to be easy and fun. I want to capture your kids laughing, but also the moments you comfort them and dry their tears. I love light, but I love people even more. I want the photos you get to make you smile or cry and most of all remember that moment. If connection is meaningful to you, then keep on reading to learn more about the work I can do for you!
A Love Of Photography, A Passion For Prints
Do you know that little thrill and tingle you get in your heart when you print your holiday cards? Take a moment to think about the warm and sweet nostalgia you feel when you go home to visit your parents and you look through old photographs? Happiness from your printed photos is REAL.
I believe that your photos should not live in a gallery, on a USB stick, or in the cloud. Or rather, I think they should be there, safe and sound, while tangible printed albums and framed prints surround you in your home. You will feel happier, I know it. I will make you an album that tells your family story and/or help you create the perfect notebook to send a grandparent. I also have a passion for finding the perfect spot in your home to display your photos and will help you pick and design framed prints in your home. If you have trouble with gallery walls, I am here to help.
Kind Words From My Clients
"I met Chelsea after observing her shoot a friend's wedding where she made fast friends with my four year old son. Both at the wedding and in my home, she slipped into the background allowing us to just do our thing while not missing a second of it. This style helped all of us to feel relaxed and helped her capture us in action instead of staged shots. She's so great with kids-she took my son's suggestions for shots and embraced him as her assistant as he worked to adjust his camera settings whenever she did."
- Elise, Seattle
"Chelsea took 4 month photos of my baby girl, Amelia and the gallery I got back from her was nothing short of amazing! The images took my breath away and will forever be something I cherish. Her use of light is beautiful and what I love about Chelsea most is the way she is able to photograph personality. When I look at the photos of my little "Dilly" I can see her quirks, her babbles, and her expressions the way I experience them in real life. How special to look back and be able to relive her young months as I know her phases will change so quickly."
"In addition to her talent, Chelsea came to my home and was not rushed at all during our session which made for a comfortable environment for us and took away all that new mom stress! We chatted about raising little ones and it was just so relaxed and fun. It felt so natural, like chatting with a friend who just so happened to bring her camera! I will definitely be in touch with Chelsea again to document special family moments in the future!"
- Alyssa, Kirkland
"Chelsea was incredible to work with. We are a pretty laid back family and my husband does not prefer photos, but Chelsea made him feel so comfortable and confident! Not only did Chelsea always check in on how my daughter was doing and asking if she needed to take a break, she also asked us and made us feel like there was no rush. Words cannot quite describe how cherished our photos are. Thank you Chelsea!!"

A Little Bit About Me
Hi. My name is Chelsea and I would love to take your picture. I am an oversharing, ice cream eating, family loving, smiling mama of one. Hailing from Texas, I now live with my husband, David, my toddler, Rufus, and our dog Wally in the Seattle area.
The photos I take absolutely reflect what I believe to be the most important thing in life; the relationships you have with the people you love. This is what grounds me and helps me with my personal struggles. Laughing, crying, smiling- in motion and in stillness. My goal is to take photos that are whimsical and intimate- filled with light, emotion, and connection. I strongly encourage you to be silly, be in love, be you, and to let me share in that with you. So, let me grab my camera and a coffee, kiss my kid goodbye, and take your picture.
