Snapshots: Buffalo

On the drive back from Leavenworth to Bellevue, we drove past a herd of buffalo, in the hazy bleak snow, and I had to see them. David pulled over and put the hazards on, and I trekked back a quarter mile with my camera to see them closer.

Rufus the Explorer

Rufus is actually happiest in the woods. He loves to walk down the trails, talking to himself, playing with sticks and leaves. He is so much calmer in nature. My little transcendentalist.
